The exhibit is designed to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) topics, particularly the field of robotics.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade will learn 21st Century skills and STEM content as they envision their own role in creating and using technology.
Robot Revolution is aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, including:
- Science and engineering practices like developing and using models, and constructing explanations and designing solutions.
- Crosscutting concepts like cause and effect, systems and system models, and structure and function.
- Disciplinary core ideas like engineering design (ETS1) and waves and their applications in technologies for information transfer (PS4).
To enhance a Robot Revolution field trip, teachers can use free classroom lessons before and after their visit.
